About Us
Vasi Fușle Academy has over 30 years of history with my career and dedication, as well as continuing my father’s work, which is involved directly in Judo from 1974. My father, Vașile Fusle, initiated the first club under the Judo Club Fușle Security in 1985 in Satu Mare City, Romania. Since then, he opened another two academies in Romania. The Head Coach of the club is now Halas Marian, with over 200 Members. In London, we opened an academy in 2021 under my name, the 4th Academy, which continues the family tradition abroad, and this project will continue; we plan to extend these martial arts. In London, I implemented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as I started to practice and compete in Jiu-Jitsu in 2006. I have been involved in sports all my life, and I’m happy that we can share our knowledge and this beautiful art with our students, creating strong characters, education and discipline. Knowing fighting in the standing position from Judo combined with BJJ which is focused on the groundwork, definitely results in a complex fighter who can continue a career in any combat sport as a professional. These martial arts combined contribute to something of value to the world.

Our story
Vasi Fușle Academy
With over 40 years of activity and continuity, we can confidently state that more than 6000 students have passed through our academies, each carrying forward the spirit and values of Judo.
After 35 years of experience and dedication, I’m proud to introduce Vasi Fușle Academy in Docklands, London. Our family’s passion for Judo began in 1974 with my father, a respected Romanian Judoka and coach. In 1985, he opened our first academy, Judo Club Fușle Security, in Satu Mare City, Romania. Since then, he has opened two additional clubs with over 300 members, managed by head coach Halas Marian. Following in my father’s footsteps, I created Vasi Fușle Academy in 2021 to continue our family tradition and spread the benefits of Judo. With over 17 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I wanted to develop our martial arts further, so we incorporated both disciplines into our training. This combination allows us to train a more well-rounded and intricate sport that will help you develop further. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned martial artist, Vasi Fușle Academy has something for you. We offer a variety of classes for all ages and skill levels, and our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping you reach your full potential.
